Encouraging the consumption of lower-calorie foods, an integral part of the Mediterranean Diet food pyramid. Reverse the consequences of the Rural Exodus on Portuguese eating habits. Integrate the consumption of these foods into Rural Development Models.

Operational objectives

Oo.1 Encourage the consumption of national, regional and local products and guarantee their authenticity, in dialogue with the principles of the Mediterranean Diet;

Oo.2 Promoting and valorising endogenous products, certified quality products and the Mediterranean Diet;

Oo.3 Educating for healthy and sustainable eating;

Oo.4 Combat food waste.
